Meredith Adams (4th year Communications major at UCSD). I’m excited to be a part of this podcast because not only do I know people who suffer from chronic illnesses, I suffer from chronic illness myself. I understand that having one can change your relationship to the way you navigate the world, and I want to help create something that encourages other people to consider these challenges, and hopefully inspire change. I have a passion for journalism, podcasting, and editing. I love researching, getting to know people, and listening to different perspectives. When I have free time, I love to spend it in nature, or with family, friends, and of course, my 10-year-old chihuahua.
Mak Gonzales (4th year Communications major at UCSD) I'm interested in disability studies and media studies. I'm excited to work on this podcast because I'm passionate about educating people on issues regarding access. I believe the education on topics relating to chronic illness are the first step in making changes to a more inclusive society.
Tyrone Johnson (3rd year Communications and Media Industries major at UCSD) I’m passionate about exploring media industries. In my free time, you’ll usually find me playing video games, watching anime, or tuning into podcasts.
Alexia Lei (4th year Communications major with a minor in Global Health at UCSD)
Martha Marquez-Torres (3rd year Communications major at UCSD) I became interested in this podcast class because it seemed like a great opportunity to expand and hone my skill set in marketing, editing, production, and research.
